Hi all, 2nd problem or not as the case may be but only having had the 206 for a few days thought i would ask!! The temp gauge only reaches roughly 80 degrees and doesn't rise any further, now on other cars its normally 90 ish is 80 correct for my pug??

got a couple of other jobs needing doing so may aswell do em at the same time!! Smile

Car should be fine the temp doesnt go really high on the HDi not unles you cane it or sit intraffic for a long time

as mikey said they dont really run hot at all and somtimes take ages for the fan to kick in

just a quickie then, when does the ECU see the engine as being warm?

like when a petrol does, if it doesn't and the stat sticks open it runs rich
do these engines behave the same?

i would assume once cold start is finished it wouldn't matter so much but just wondered if my MPG goes abit south Smile
