Hi i just fitted tuning box and engine light wont go off even when ive put back other old connector in any ideas ? taken box off still light on
New car 2011 / Thoruim grey , 207 1.4 Vti 16v Sport 95bhp , tinted rear windows.

Old car 2000/ 206 2.0 hdi.

probably something else, maybe the extra power from the box caused something to go?

It says about this in the manual that you get with the tuning box, it should give you a warning!

It is the 'anti-pollution fault', its due to the new readings that the ecu has to learn thru the increased fueling. It should go off after a week or so of driving. You could try connecting the tuning box, and disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU to default, to see if that makes it go off any quicker.

the orange light is the engine mangement though isnt it ? so you r saying its safe to drive you think ?

engine management light can go through depending on why its on ,i think, dont quote Smile

ok thats alrit then long as dont fail mot , tell you what well happy with it really is like another car much faster and more fun to drive ,not fussed about light as drives good and quick and wont fail mot

fitted box again now because light on no matter what now , mot not due till about june but how would i get it off then took box off light still on same so may aswell use it now but really cant get that light off
