normally i change oil twice a year. which is about 6000miles per change.
how often do you change it?
not is that bother me but i have heard some people change oil after about 2500miles, which means about 4 oil change per year.  too rich i think lol

The black cabs are supposed to do it every 9k, but doubt they will
They spend their money on diesel with them only doing 25-30 mpg

it's depands on the kinds of oil. 6K miles with total 9000.

I change mine monthly tbh! 5W50 fully synth too. But that is a track/rally car.

My dad knows a guy who was a taxi driver. Changed his oil every 2,000 miles. Got over 300,000 miles out of his mondeo.

Some people change the oil way too often and will never see any benefit.
For me I used to change the 206 oil every 12 months which ranged between 5k and 10k miles. I might change it soon (after removing and resealing the sump properly - it's leaked slightly since I got it back) as it's been in there 12 months and done about 1k miles!
For the Jetta I change it every 9k miles (all motorway mileage). Considering VW say they can do about 15k miles I think I'm being careful enough.

Both my 206 and LCR have always had the oil changed at either 5k, 3 months or after a track day

Its 20k miles between oil changes on 2.0 TDi VAG engine.
