The O/S inner driveshaft gator has split on my GTi. Looking to swap myself - are there any specialist tools etc and what is the general procedure/ things to look out for please?

Just done the lower arm, drop links and track rod ends now this!

Hows things mate? Do you mean the CV BOOT?
You will see its dead easy if you look underneath. no specialist tools required, you willl have to free the driveshaft though so you slide the new boots on unless you use the cone as stated above.... Take it they've split? are they not clicking on full lock?

Sig removed due to size

yes it's the CV boot - there are two on the O/S and it's the inner one - I assume I can take the hub off and do it from that end BUT it needs to over the outer one.
