Hello everyone
Just a quick question...
While driving my 206 the car veers quite harshly from side to side. It normally happens at around 50mph upwards.
I recently changed the nearside wishbone because there was loads of play in the ball joint, but since I've changed it, this has started happening.
I jacked the car up and checked for play in the wheels and everything seems to be fine, so I'm a bit confused about what could be causing the problem. I've also checked that the wheels are balanced, the tires have all been inflated correctly and all of the tires have got good tread.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

have you checked the tracking i had the same problem

The tracking was sorted just before the MOT in september, and I was told that it was still slightly out even after they had fixed it, so that could be a problem.

Of you've changed a wishbone, the tracking will be out. Might aslo be as you have an old and a new wishbone.

Check your rear axle trailing arms, my passenger side one has gone and its behaving exactly how you describe, getting fixed tomorrow though

Thanks for the replies guys, I got the tracking sorted today and the car seems a lot better.
I'm changing the drop links tomorrow because there's play in them causing a knocking noise from the front end, and I'll check the rear axle trailing arms as well.
