My 206's engine seems to have a very rough idle and the engine moves about alot in the engine bay. I replaced the cambelt yesterday and found the left engine mount was loose and i've torqued it up now and it is better but it still moves alot. The engine seems rough even compared to my girlfriends mondeo tdci. Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

You say it rough? as in its running rough or what, and you did the timing belt yourself if it was a tooth out it run run abit rough
other that that it will be a worn mounth , give it a good pull to see if they is much movement

The belt is not a tooth out as i just checked it. There is also a slight burning smell just after the engine is started. Checked injector o rings and they are fine. By rough i mean it feels like a tank at idle but as soon as i touch the throttle it is fine.

what is your idle rpm? could be knackerd idle control valve making it idle too slow hence the movement

You can't really tell if a mount is worn simply by pulling on the engine. Engine mounts are quite soft these days to make the car more refined.
