Hi there, the inside blowers for the heater dont work. This is one of the jobs i need to get fixed before i start using the car, but im a bit stumped as to what it could be. Only just bought the car and it has recently had the clutch done and the blowers havent worked since. What could this possibly be?

Chances are the fan is knackered. Might as well buy a new one.

Whenever anything goes, it's always a good idea to check the fuse.

There are no resistors on the GTi fan set up...it's all controlled by the climate control screen.

Hello guys, first post.
I have just bought a Y reg 2001 206 2.0 hdi. The fan blowers do not work through the climate control unit, but the fan is working when given a live feed so has been bypassed and put onto a switch that turns the fan on or off so i have the blower on full until i get it fixed. All other buttons and fucntions of the climate unit work. Car also has aircon.
From this I gather that the heater resistor has failed, does anyone have a part number for the part to replace it? The dealers have a choice of 4 resistors that it could be and have asked me to bring it in. Cheers Rick

just change the blower. easy job get under the passenger side of the dash n u cn see it in the middle. unplug it then get a good grip n twist it counterclockwise. itll pop out. then just refit in reverse order but i had to use a crowbar to help turn it back and click into place.
