I've not started a good year with my car, first the wipers and such now a new problem.
Last week the car was misfiring and juddering when driven, not always, just 70% of the time it was used. I changed the spark plugs at the weekend with new ones and I could tell the old ones had worn out.

Now the car doesn't judder, but will go a small while and then cut out, or go to and bump start back if i am using the accelerator at the time.
The misfiring is also still there.

Is there anything to check myself before i send my car to the garage?

Honestly, I think they were cheap ones. They were called AJK.
I mixed them up with the brand NGK 6months ago when i replaced the coil pack. The NGK's in at the time didn't look like needed replacing.

i was thinking fuel filter, is there any possiblity maybe. It's cheap to replace so I may buy and replace anyway. The car is 12 years old. Had it under to and had to replace a bit on it.

I'll pick some up ASAP. Do you think the spark plugs could be the problem then? I thought it might be, but my motor knowledge is weak.

Thank You, I'll get right on it now, report feedback when anything develops.

Anyone know the spark plug diameter off the top of their head? Euro carparts specifies two Bosch plug sizes: 2.3 and 2.7mm

Air in the fuel lines? Look for bubbles in the transparent pipes.

Sorry in the days delay. Changed spark plugs to Bosch ones and the car runs smooth as ever again Smile
Thank You again guys, much appreciated.

I'dve never thought that dodgy plugs could cause as much trouble.. haha
