hey people, havent been on here for ages so apologies work and family life have sort of taken over
but ive still got the pug and when driving this mornin its got a probably
coming back in the morning from shopping near a petrol station on traffic lights the car was on idle and the gear know started shaking like mad and then the engine oil or management light came on (above the handbrake indicator) and started flashing
called my mate whos sort of a mechanic (lol), and we thought it was either the coil pack or stepper motor,
the car was last serviced about 6-7-8 months ago and we changed the brake pad, discs, air and fuel filters and all plugs and flushed the oil and out fresh oil in
i went to peugeot and bought a new stepper motor and now when idle the car is better (less juderinging) but when revving the car is misfiring like mad and there's no power when in gears?? it just cuts of the engine
any idea people, really need this car for work etc..
so anyhelp is appreciated
cheers

All sorted people, it was the bloody coil pack lol
after being given the wrong part by euro car parts and running around for the right one, put it in and there you go.
only other thing is that by power steering is really heavy, any ideas??
