Looked better with them to be honest. Get the bump strips colour coded & it will sort it out.

i took mine off. but mines a 5 door and i have the mirrors,vent and bump strips all cc'd so suits it well,
but your right it is a good free mod!

Imo removing them looks better on a 5 door than a 3 door! Seems to break the flow of the windows on a 3door i think

why was it put on in the first place. Surely pug could have saved themself a few £ by leaving it off if its painted underneath anyway

to protect the paint work DJ as people use that to open shut doors so with keys rings etc it scratches like mad.
