went to start car this morning and engine imobiliser fault came up first time its done this since i have had it
black peugeot 206 gti 180 lowered all round morrette headlights smoked tail lights full cobra exhaust

Might sound simple, but did you try locking and unlocking again?

Try another key, preferbly the master and see what happens

Failing that could be the aerial around the ignition barrel at fault

If in doubt, drop a cog and put your foot down Smile

My did this was a faulty key chip.

focus st 3 with pro alloy intercooler, 3" mongoose down pipe, 200 cell sports cat and mongoose cat back, collins bov, dreamscience dsci cold air intake,focus rs injectors,focus rs oil cooler,dreamscience dsci tuneing platform mod X map,focus rs clutch & flywheel, rs fuel pump, polly bushes in wish bones rear axal and suspension white line front and rear arb, eibach pro street s suspension.

mine did that recently, was the wiring loom, fixed now though £500 later
