Ive got a dent in the rear arch on the bit that goes flat just wondering how easy would it be to respray it myself

Depends on how you like to keep your car. Personally I wouldn't dream of spraying that panel with anything other than the right stuff... dust free room, compressor, gun etc! And experience!

Hmm.. I still wouldn't do it myself with nice pearly metallic paint like yours - it looks in good condition from your sig and would stand out a mile if you weren't careful. Really depends how anal you are I guess about paint blemishes.
Sure to most people you could probably make it look better on the eye by a DIY job if that's what you're after but with a can on the quarter you won't get a consistant finish to the laquer. And if you wanted rid of the dent with damaged paint you'd need a skim of filler over it too!

Have a look for Ste206 's guide.. It was for the front arch but will be exactly the same just with a different panel.

The "how-to" suggested is really good. Just bare in mind that is a complete panel whereas DIY you wouldn't be looking at spraying the complete quarter so you would have to blend in the spray which from a can could easily look poop, and then you'd have your margin of Canned laquer compared to factory to deal with. Do-able though.
