car: 2000 1.1 lx preplexed

Basically i had flat battery, went to charge it and had my charger on 24V by mistake. Connected it or around 20 seconds before realising my mistake!

Now i charged it on 12V to get it going and goes fine. Only thing is, fan wont go off and interior light/radio don't work.

No fuses blown :S

did you not disconnect the negative terminal of the car before charging the battery?!?!

are you certain the fuses arnt blown, sometimes they can look good when they arnt. also have you tried disconnecting it again and letting the power drain out of the systems before reconnecting it. oh i thought your first post said you were charging it?

99% it will be the fuses, a fuse' purpose is to break when there's a surge in the circuit im sure this what has happened, get a multi meter on each end of the fuses one by one, now it could be time consuming but auto electricans charge upwards of £50 per hour so could be a costly bill just to find out its a 9pence fuse

Fuses usually blow via amps, this is voltage

There a relays and obv you radio only like 12v may have FUBAR'ed them as there electronics in them, could have fried the ECU and BSI
