Just come home from work in my 2001 gti. Braked hard at a roundabout and the wheels locked and skidded. Warning light with car skidding came on and won't go off. What does this mean? Is it my ABS? Seeing as the car did skid when it shouldn't.

ABS light
Turn your car off then back on, if it doesnt go maybe because you havent used ABS in a while and its broke something

Don't think a pics necessary really. There's not that many different warning lights with cars skidding on in all the 206s I've seen. I was just wondering what it meant.

It means there's a fault with the ABS system.
If you had bothered to look in the owners manual it would have told you that
