The girlfriend hit something in the snow today, dont know what she it bit there is green fluff around the belt area. The squeaking is not like the belt slipping but sound like its coming from the power steering pump. Any ideas?

Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.

how hard did she hit whatever it was, it could have put something out of alignment making the belt rub and sqeak. would have to have hit something pretty hard though?

How could it be, he said he found green fluff. Clearly shes hit a cuddly toy.

This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

Had a look under the car, The belt was not on right and was rubbing on plastic cam belt cover. What ever she hit must have got caught up in the belt.
Do the 206's have under covers?
