Is there any difference between rnr and rfn Gearboxes or are they the same for a GTi. How do you tell which one fits each engine.

One is cable, the other is hydraulic?

Both are the same. RFR is just older. Engine wise RFN means 2 x lambda sensors. Nothing to do with the gearbox.

Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

Thank you for that could not find an answer anywhere. i will upload pics once new gearbox fitted and the car is fully cleaned.
