I pulled up earlier dipped beam headlamps were on, engine running, foot on brake, handbrake off and my Mrs opened the passenger door. I got the bleep and the computer said door open as normal, then the interior light began pulsing on and off. It was a constant pulse about 1-2 seconds apart. She closed the door and the light went off, I opened my door and it was a steady light, she opened her door again and it was a steady light. Has anyone had this before? Is it a sign of a bigger fault to come?
I am running a 2003 plexed 1.4 petrol 3 door.

Thanks in advance.

Was the door opened before the car was at a full stop?

The software is a bit clunky Wink

Mine will flash if the car is not fully stopped and the door is open. It a warning system so i wouldnt worry about it.

I don't think so, but she used to send the Hyundai haywire by taking seatbelt off when I was coming to a stop. I'll try it again next time I'm out. I'll get her to open the door (might even give her a push) while I'm moving and see what happens. I'll update when checked.

I reckon she was a bit to quick opening the door before the car had stopped, you only have to get the door on the safety catch & you will set the interior light disco flashing Laughing

SOLVED. (I think) Went down road and got her to open the door (she kept the seatbelt on so I missed my chance for the push) and light began to flash. Shut door and it went off. Thanks for all your help guys. Panic over.
