When i get in and turn on the ignition?!?

Hi guys, got what i think is a problem and its pretty strange!
When i get in the car and turn on the ignition (this does not happene every time by the way just ocassionally) the dials will do a lil jig and the hazards go on and the doors all lock???

Any ideas?

my dials have always done that jig Razz never caused me any problems, my doors dont lock though? lol

I agree! chances are it's the earth points bit corroded always causes electrics to go mental lol

My dials do this too but usually after a couple of minutes driving they all drop back to rest then spring back into life!! also noticed that headlights blink when changing gear, especially after being sat for 12 hours or so on nightshift Smile
If in doubt, drop a cog and put your foot down Smile

Yours most likely is the earth strap on the gearbox Wink

Mine only do it for 5 secs, so its gotta be the battery going out more than anythin else Smile
