Hey all,

Just a quick question, I'm hearing a hissing noise inside the cabin when I lift off the brakes.

It used to be every now and then, now it's always.

I read that it could be a leaking 'servo' or similar?

Is this an expensive job to fix? My aircon also needs regassing (maybe a new unit) so I want to know what I should be paying before I go into the mechanics.

Cheers,
Tim

That's correct. I stuck my head under there, but couldn't find exactly where it was coming from.

How major is this?

Is it urgent, should I avoid driving my car for safety reasons until it gets fixed?

Will my brakes just suddenly stop working in the next few days/weeks/months.

Your brakes wont stop working but you will have to press the pedel harder to stop as you wont have servo assistance. But you can drive the car just dont try any heroics on the brakes
