Find someone with Peugeot Planet & get the car scanned with that Wink

Lee has Peugeot Planet kit, ask him how much to scan yours.

Yeah, I will ask him, I would have to post it to him, Him coming to Birmingham would be a waste of time for him just to scan it plus costly for me.

He would really need the whole car

Peugeot Planet is the official dealer software, it's the best diagnostic kit for a Peugeot.

Oh Ok, cheers for the clarification, I'm just thinking if it is going to cost me ( and bare with me on this) If as i have worked it out, it cost me about £70 ( from what iv calculated to get Lee out, only for him to say i need X work done and then I have to send off the unit which will cost me another £100 odd quid ( maybe more maybe less ) and then not to mention all the faffing about. It would be quicker and simpler to change it all don't you think?

OK, well just took the car to the Peugeot independent mechanic, He hooked up the Peugeot world diagnostic. He was unable to communicate with the ECU. He then somehow manually used my vin number or something to to checks. He told me that there was most definatly a short circuit, he also said that the bsi was fine, and the second bsi in the engine bay by the passenger side near the battery was also fine. He then manually check the fuel and if it was coming through which when the car was attempting to start was not going through. HE said to me to check all the wires ( the car is accident repair and the wires are a MESS)!! So here is the curve ball, my dad who is an old school mechanic, is insistent that it is the fuel pump.!!!

Its taken you to page 4 of the thread to tell us Rolling Eyes

Front left hand corner been smacked?

Take the wheel arch liner off & check the wiring loom very carefully where it passed through the inner wing.
