My steering rack needs changing. I want to tackle the task my self, seems quite easy. Just for reference is there a DIY on the forum
My car is a 2003 1.1

Also will a rack from a 2001 1.1 fit?

Thanks

The steering rack is attached to the subframe so that needs removing...

Can the two bolts that attach to the sub frame not be removed without removing the subframe from under the car?

You may want to start it, but i assure you, you wil not complete it unless you know what you are doing and the order to do it in. Its a big job mate.
