on my 99 gti, i can turn the climate controll off and leave it for a day or 2 then il get in the car and it will be on. whats that all about?

Operator error Wink

If the temp inside the car is much different to what the climate control is set to when it was last used then it will switch itself on.

Dont worry about it, the PSA climate control system is one of the best set & forget systems around.
