After a couple mins of driving yesturday my oil warning light came on, stopped check oil level, topped it up. got back in my car and started her up and light went off. few minutes later it came back on.

car feels fine, no drop in revs and is running smoothley, coolant level fine, temp runs as normal.

Checked manual, could be other things but though id ask you lot to see what your thoughts were?

Thanks

Has it done many miles? Could be a dodgy oil pressure sensor.

Measure the oil pressure - that needs a oil pressure gauge hooking up.

Just check the wiring / change the oil pressure switch Wink

As a matter of interest, how much oil did you need to use to top up?
