Have you physically removed every fuse?

I really never expected a thread like this from you mate!

Neither did I...

I'v multi metered them all from the top terminals using continuity test. Only the interior light fuse is blown but that shouldn't stop the car from starting. When I did the BSI reset and put the sidelights on, they didn't actually turn on!? Ahhhh f*** Neutral I'm just hoping I'v missing something flaming obvious..

Eco Mode displays even will a full battery, it does it if you leave the door open for too long and sometimes if you leave something turned on that could drain the battery basically to save your battery from going flat.

My car does this all the time when I'm sat in it at shows with the door open, it turns the interior light off and displays eco mode..

Have you checked, and double checked and checked every fuse again? Sometimes they're blown but don't look it, have you got a fuse tester at hand?!

The fuse you may have blown will be #4 inside the car under the steering wheel, which is a 20A fuse for the boot light, auto and steering wheel controls ect.

Also check fuse #7 in the engine compartment, and Fuse's #8 & #15 are linked to the ECU AFAIK so check them too.

Have you actually replaced the fuse? Do that then try again

There was someone a while ago who had exatly the same problem because they installed an aftermarket HU but when they changed it back to standard it worked.

Weird but worth a try,

Remove each fuse and test them from the legs, top terminals can give a false reading if they're connected to the car still as it can loop the system Wink

Okay Ste, will do. I'll pull them all out if needs be... It turns over... but it's either not sparking or not injecting fuel... I think it's the second one though.

Well yeh, that's what I'm thinking as the car locks with the key but not the remote (button)?

I can't remember it doing so... Wait, I'll go connect the battery and try and start it... I left it for a bit.

Alright Smile well engine box fuse #15 is also for the Ignition coil and injectors, but if the fuel pump doesnt prime its something more as thats a different fuse location (#2 IIRC)

It's bad.

Okay... Re-connect the battery the way you're spose to..

I turn the sidelights on and nothing happens.

Wait a bit, then put the key in.

The sidelights then come on... The pump DOES prime. Try to start the car and nothing. (I'm getting scared I'm flooding the cylinders now).

If you turn the sidelights off with the key in, they stay on. Pull the key out and the sidelights go off.

It's f****d isn't it..

I dont like the sound of the last 2 paragraphs o.O

Have you pulled EVERY fuse out, checked over the two legs with a tester and put them back where they're from?

Testing over the contacts at the top sometimes gives false readings, thats the only hope I can think of for it been a simple fix, hopefully there's something more that could be checked that I'm not thinking about / know of.
