Hi guys, made a idiots mistake and shorted the contacts when changing a bulb. Now the car won't start and central locking won't work. Car does turn over though but won't catch. I'm assuming I'v blew a fuse but which one do I look at?
btw, this was changing the interior boot light.
All replies are welcome as I need this sorting ASAP 
Edit: It's plexed... Central locking works but not with the remote

Try a BSI reboot, check the relevent fuses..

check all fuse,
reset bsi and hope for the best.
P.S. disconnect the battery before playing with fuse or changing bulbs etc.

I'v checked all the fuses... It's just the interior light one that's gone. The car should start without it right... so BSI Reset time I think...

Okay, did a BSI reset... car doesn't start! Eco Mode is displaying though the batt does have charge... I believe am f****d unless I'v missed a fuse? I'v checked engine bay and under the steering wheel?

Doesn't sound good.
Edit:
Try leaving the battery disconnected for a few mins, then do another BSI reset.

Ahhh why won't Lee pick up his phone when I need him!
Right... I'm going out with the multimeter again... I swear the sidelights didn't even come on when I flicked them!

i hope you havnt killed the bsi  there has been a number of people doing this by changing bulbs on here recently! its stupid how such a simple thing can make such a huge repair bill
