how much is the torsion bar adjusted by? and i presume eibach pro kit dampers and sportline springs?

just asking because I want my car to sit as nicely as this. What is the ride like?

I think the rear is lowered 8mm and yes, it's pro kit dampers and sportline springs. I've had someone else in the car who also has a 180 and he said it didn't feel that much harder than standard 180 suspension. You do feel bumps if you go over one, but for normal driving about it's not uncomfortable at all.

What could this piece of fleece out of asda for £3 and this image possibly have in common?! I sense a long term project involving a lot of faffing about happening soon! Very Happy

very much so Smile I've tallied up materials and it could be quite expensive so I won't be doing it in a hurry. So far i've spent £38 on a Makita Jig Saw (apparently used once and is £150 in B&Q?!?! Fingers crossed with that one!) £2.50 on tape, £1 on crap sand paper and £3 on fleece Laughing

Well the audio thing is out the window for now. I decided I needed to get some new tyres, which is a better priority. AJ's wheels were up for sale so I bought them off him and they came equipped with 2 Pirelli P-zero's and 2 Bridgestone Potenza's! Perfect! New tyres and a new colour it was to be and I'm quite chuffed with the result, the tyres are brilliant, I have the Bridgestone's on the front at the moment.

Looking good Brian! Much better on the stock wheels! 180's look best on them, even if they do reduce the ride quality to bone shattering lol!

Cheers Jamie! I'm actually waiting on the other 2 wheels being powdercoated, so I have silver ones on the other side at the moment and have been running them for a while. Decided after a few years of ownership with OZ's it was time for something different!

Got my other 2 wheels done and some Poorboys wheel sealant applied everywhere! Very Happy

These are now on the car but car's dirty so never took any pics and I know...I still need to re-apply the badges Smile

The car is now sporting some Bridgestone Potenza's on the front and Pirelli P-Zero's on the rear...it feels like a totally different car compared to before! Super-chuffed! Very Happy

It's amazing how a new set of tyres can make it feel like a different car and a totally different driving experience!

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.
