Basically the passenger side electric window in the other halfs car's stopped working. It's been getting progressively worse for the last 6 months or so when it started misbehaving intermittently but after flicking the switch up and down a few times it always worked. Occasionally it would wind all the way up or down with one touch (it doesn't have auto up and down on the passenger side). Now it's totally packed up, although the drivers side is still fine.
Any ideas as now the weather's getting warmer it'd be quite nice to have both working!!

I thought it might be the motor but I would've thought it'd just stop suddenly not over a period of time.

Ali, motors can be replaced. They are secured with rivets from memory and will need drilled out.

i would replace the electric window duct and motor in the door, rather than the whole door itself, The easiest way of proving if its that, is to disconnect the plug from the motor in the door and then attach it to a new one, bought off ebay, like : clicky

Yea I can get a new motor at the scrappy but dont want all the hassle of drilling all the rivets if it's something else lol.
Might just get one and give that a try Iain cheers.
