My revs on startup in the morming are nearly at 11000 and after a few minutes of driving they drop to just under 9000 and the car doesn't sound as good. Normal?

That's completely normally. Car is warming itself up... Every car in the world does this...
Edit: Every fuel injected car does this.. before the hydrogen and electric loving fools come out to play.

8000? Have you had your limiter raised or something?

They dont go upto that it's just on the dials, you can have it remapped and the limit raised though. Cant remember how high they go before they hit the limiter though

Fixed the rev's lol
But back on topic, thats normal, when the cars cold it will idle higher, then as it warms up it will drop. When I first start mine it's just over 1000 and after abit of driving drops down to 850rpm
