a guy came to see my 407 tonight, he wants it for a taxi, he was quite impressed by it and left a deposit, cant wait for him to take it away, i utterly hate it, imo its one of peugeots biggest fails. my mrs is over the moon aswell as I will stop using her car.
hopefully by the weekend il be a proud 206 owner too

There crap & poorly put together 
One example, the door latch screws fall out so the latch comes loose & makes the door insecure.

sat nav is mince,
clutch packed in,
gearbox is mega weak,
constant warning lights,
abs & esp packed in,
auto lights dont work,
xenon light adjuster dont work
to name a few!

Couple of managers at work both had 407 SW not long after they where launched, they both had the classic climate control stuck on full cold in the middle of winter

wouldnt fancy that!
the front way too far past the front wheels, ripped the bumper spoiler off reversing into my drive (which is flat) just the slight incline over the pavement.
its got a sim card slot on the dash but im not brave enough to put one in as the the car randomly tries to phone the police!

The SOS button
You can get the rare RT3 head unit in the 206 which includes a built in phone etc, dont worry there just as crap as the unit fitted to the 407

yeah, exactly the same one! il be driving along then suddenly "attempting emergency call" and for about 30 - 40 mins nothing else works until it resets itself! crazy car

well, waved goodbye to the 407 earlier, one step closer to the 206, think ive seen the one im after, hopefully get it saturday, wish me luck guys!
