i am in the middle of serviceing my 51 plate gti 138 and i cant find the fuel filter. i looked where the how to guide showed and it aint there and i have traced the fuel lines to the engine bay and couldnt find one there. when i got the parts it said on the computer system i needed one but cant find it. can someone please shed some light on this. thanx

I believe you dont need one as its in the fuel tank and is a self cleaning one.

If its not under the o/s rear arch, then its self cleansing one
