Had my 206GTI since 13th April, and have cleaned it every single day so far. Except for Sunday just gone, I cleaned it twice.
NEVER drive a dirty car! It's pathetic. |
Am I the only one who thinks he's cleaning it a little bit too much? :\ |
Haha, well, I only wet wash it every 3/4days - everyday inbetween i use the autoglym detail spray and autglym fast glass.
Works magic and car is always reflection perfect. I can't (yes, can't) drive a dirty car, my area is always dusty (close to powerstation) and it pi55es me off having dust and insects on the paintwork.
I'm like a magpie, if it ain't shiny then I ain't interested!

if ever im going out for the day (like yesterday me and the mrs went to beach), I wake up about 1hr early and give the car a good clean and windows and detail spray before we set off.
Also last year for FCS I left at 5am, but woke up at 3am to clean it. Then cleaned it again once at FCS. The milkman was abit shocked, as he comes round at about half 4 =-]

Not too much just pointless, If you detail it well and use a decent sealent and wax you should only need to use a quick detailer every couple of days and wash/snow foam and dry once a week would be fine.

My 206 is cleaned every tuesday (day off) unless its winter, a good winter detail before hand and more like every 3 weeks. It never looks dirty getting cleaned once a week, you must drive in fields if it needs cleaned every day
