I used to have 206 gti but sold it as i couldnt afford to run it annnd it was broken! Circumstances have changed and am buying a 206cc butttt i cant decide between petrol or diesel little help please!? Smile x

There are very few diesel 206cc's!
2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

I found a few. 22 nationally. 965 petrols! So pretty rare.

Good luck in finding ONE locally then. You won't have a big choice put it that way.

A 1.6 won't cost as much as your GTi tho.

The 1.6 HDI engine is the worse engine you could have fitted to a 206 Laughing

The 2.0 hdi is the best diesel engine choice, you cant get it in a 206 CC though.
