Hey people, got an issue with the motor, had to get it recovered back home from west drayton as according to the recovery driver the cluth bearings gone.

basically there is a whistling sound when i turn the car on and a griding noise when trying to put it in reverse gear, and it doesn't even go in any other gear??

I've been quoted £250 to replace the clutch (all in price labour and parts) good price or not people??

Also does that problem sound like its the clutch anyway?

cheers

Every 5 years OR 80k miles whichever comes FIRST.

Its well overdue a timing belt if it hasnt been replaced in the past.
