When I remove my foot of the clutch there's a kind of 'click' noise, it happens mostly when i just lightly press it and release, started recently but its been getting more common as I drive it, any ideas?

I also have a 1.4 lx that does this although it's very quite click and only hear it on my way to work in the morning when I'm too tired for the radio, mines done it since I owned the car and never thought it was a problem, ive drove approx 10,000 in the time I had it.

Cost about £35 for the whole part. The self adjuster come with the cable as a whole. i would say is a 4 spanner job foran average diy person. It take me about 3 hours to change the whole damm thing. U will need tiny fingers to slot in the cable connector to the pedals (very tight space) and make sure you dun release the plastic housing holding the self adjuster untill you finish install everything.

If you find any garage will do the job under £100n then go for it.
