Hi,

Something strange is happening to my 206 SW and I cant work out what it is or why it is doing it. When I pull away I get a beep noise and the interior light comes on for a few seconds.
It doesnt happen all the time, which makes it even harder to work out.
At first I thought it was becuase the indicator was still on, but shortly it happened again whilst going straight on at traffic lights.

Its a 2003 206 SW 2.0 HDI D Turbo

Any ideas?

Thanks

Darren

What She Said

Your BSI is detecting one o your doors are still open, so either they aren't all closed properly or one of the catches is faulty or has a loose wire

Normally get a warning message pop up on the multifunction display at same time as well.

Scrolling text message on basic display

OR

Finally found out that its the driver side rear door thats causing the beep. Not sure if its the catch or a loose wire.

I now have another problem which I never checked when I purchased the car. There appears to be no power going to the cigarette lighter in the front or the boot. I went to use my sat nav which had no power so I plugged it in.. and no power went to it. It powers up in my wifes car so its not the power lead.
Any ideas? Could it be a fuse?

Thanks

Darren

Most likely, check for broken bits of charger shorting out one of the sockets before checking / replacing the fuse.
