yeah i know, currently working on a enclosure for it with a cold air feed, for now i have put the alloy tubes back on, that photo was just to show the filter really.

Got all the wheels finished and on the car minus 1 centre cap that i'v ran out of paint for 
Another airfilter, pipercross this time, still working on enclosure for it
run out of money now though

update, with pics
New filter, enclosure nearly done, just needs a hole cutting for the cold air feed.
cold air feed:
Back box polished, paper in there to show how shiney it is:
Sunstrip fitted today, for free
And interior back to standard, trial guage mount in vent too:

cheers! yeah the lights could do with being shiney, but deffo keeping the wheels for now, put too much work into them ... and i'm skint lol
hopefully new interior done by tomorrow, then i'll get started on all the little jobs, making the lights shiney, spraying the bits under the car at the sides black, Finish air filter enclosure, strip doorcards and paint gloss black
etc.

F*ck all that, Number 1 on the list should be to lower it, lots! Thats when a car looks a hell of a lot better, rather than a car modded in bits and peices. Will look ace when lowered!

all them are cheap mods though and i'm skint.
Do have some eibach 40mm lowering springs, its just getting money to pay someone to get the back end down.
can't have it too low though, i have a rather steep drive

Update:
The car is at the garage getting repaired. on thursday i lost the use of the clutch, think its the release fork snapped inside So I'm without the car for a week. Only the 4th time its gone wrong this year lol.
so far i'v spent more repairing it than modding it or buying it in the first place, over the 1 and a half years or 22000 miles of owning it. Its getting daft. Thinking of fixing it this time, selling all the mods and part exchanging it for something better or at least more reliable.

But when it's fixed it will be fine again what's the point in s[ending the money to get the clutch fixed to sell it on?

Ah but i said that last time, and the time before, and the time before and that only takes me back to xmas lol
Nah will be driving it for a bit longer until i find something that i really want and can afford.
Someone else can enjoy the work i'v put into it, i can do it all again (better ) on the next one.
Want to go euro i think, looking at a 1999 model polo. or a 2001 model clio. dunno yet i'll wait and see.

will do when i get the car back from garage, pretty sure its the release for snapped on the inside as the garage is running at half the man power its going to take a while.
basically i'm running the scoop to the vent in the cupra splitter the just using ducting to take it up to the filter.
Thats what i WAS going to do. Now i'm putting the standard airbox back on and running the scoop up to that
