Bleed valve until it spurts water. Drive around a lot with bottles of water in the car

I couldnt see a bleed valve! But after driving round it seems to be ok now!
However the fan works fine, the coolant sensor and thermostat has been changed but the car is overheating!!
I dont know what to do

When you say overheating (I'm getting deja vu here, did I already ask you this), does it literally go right into the red and then STOP flashes at you?

Well yes Seb, it goes up towards the red but before I let it get any hotter I put the AC on full heat to make the temp go back down! Sits around 100 i guess.

Ok so its been about 10mins since driving the car and it getting redhot.
BUT the radiator is cold!!!
I dont know how the coolant sensor could say its hot thought as surely it passes through the radiator to get to the sensor?? Could this mean its a faulty water pump or radiator?

Maybe, or airlock. Does the car judder when it gets really hot? And does the fan kick in then you think the radiators not even hot?

It does not judder. True but when we got home the temp reading was 100ish - I wouldnt think it could cool so fast sitting for around 10mins? (I mean its pretty much stone cold as it gets)
edit: Actually water was def going into the radiator as I was pooring it into the bottle mind.

If it's thy cold after 10 minutes I would say dodgy thermo, pouring water in is probably cause by the air lock as you said you had that sloshy sound. Need to bleed + new thermo at a guess.

It sounds like either:
Airlock
OR
Failed water pump

Definately sounding like a water pump then... if it was doing it before and it's still doing it, and you are 100% sure it's not an airlock. Can't think of anything else really.
