once the car in in motion or the internal fans r on full (hot) the temp goes down and stays at around 90 but when the car is stationary the temp rises :O(

im lost.
Does the slow and/or fast speed fan come on at all? slow usually at 93, fast at 100+.

if the slow fan doesnt come on it could also be the resistor below the relays.

sorry lol the main engine fan doesnt come on at all i have to use the internal fans to cool the engine down

read thru the later posts and tried turnin on my AC but nothin either.

when the original main engine fan went my car overheated and the thermostat siezed which i changed, after putting a perfectly workin 2nd hand fan in and changed the relays it still doesnt work

Aren't there two coolant sensors on TU engined cars? Maybe the sensor that tells the ECU to switch on the fan doesn't work. On my GTi the fan fuse is in the fuse box under the bonnet. I think it's a 40 amp fuse.

Does the fan come on when the air conditioning is switched on? I think you said you'd checked the relays but did you check the condition of the wiring? In 8 years I'd never heard my fan come on at high speed. Although my car didn't sit in traffic much I'm sure I'd have heard if it was working. My relays were rather crusty and the +ve wiring was actually broken at the teminal under the relay. The condition of the wiring wasn't apprent from just checking the relay though.

So the wiring is 100% definately attached to the terminal under the relay? I imagine if it was plugged into PlanetPeugeot or whatever it's called it would tell you what information is coming out of the sensor.
