I know when Ryton was making 405's the shells used to be stacked outside.
Didnt really matter as they hadnt been dipped at that point.
I doubt Peugeot would get anyone even wanting a 206 shell now, be cheaper to just write the car of then re-shell it.

Its basically a polite way of saying " sod off we aint selling you a new bodyshell "
Some poor sod at Peugeot has to stamp the VIN number in as well before it gets delivered

I've seen new 206 bodyshells that have been stored outside. There are plenty of interior parts that rust!

Yeah I've got another car, just used the 206 for work and pleasure really, gonna use the 308 until I buy a new runaround

I feel really sorry for you mate, I wrote my first car off and it sucked for ages! I love my pug as much as the next man but dont get another one if you just want it to replace the one you wrote off. It Wont be the same,(trust me lol)
get something better
on retrospect I dont suppost taking the stone chips seems too bad now?

I wish I didn't love my car as much so I didn't care about the stone chips! And I know what your saying another 206 just wouldn't feel the same, I'm not ruling one out though ad it's about the only pug I like and it's easy for me as my stepdad is a master tech for Peugeot so I get free labour and cheaper parts....winner in my eyes lol
