But what does the button on the top of the left hand stalk from the steering wheel on the gti 180 do?
I'm sure mine doesnt do anything!

It's the emergency eject. You'll have to take it into peugeot to get it looked at.

Does it not say Auto on the stalk?

The stalk will but you have to activate if they arent already.

To activate them turn the key to the first click and hold the button down, you will hear a bong and a warning message will appear on the dash display.

Are these functions switched on as standard? I got a Xsara Picasso as a hire car on holiday and the auto locking and auto lights weren't switched on. So I activated them. They also have electric folding mirrors too.

mine were all active when i brought the car which is probably why i never realised what the button did
