Haha, thanks for that mate, I'm dropping it off to get the hardtop, V and some of the door/clam painted properly in the next week or so hopefully will look much nicer soon!

Got it back now after about two months! Complete with painted hard top, front clam, doors and some fibre glass reworking on the light brackets Smile

Gave it a wash, put the cover on, and will revisit it when the weather gets a bit better.

Plans are to properly bleed the brake system, fit a new timing chain and grab some Gaz to stiffen it up and drop it down a little, then perhaps by the time that's done I can tax it again!

Cheers dude, still reminds me of the first one when it was SC'd though as the exhaust note is identical and it's almost the same spec wise.

Back on axle stands.

Old brakes not looking too healthy....

Gave things a quick coat of black hammerite.

And fitted the Gaz

Still sat on axle stands as I've got one wheel left to do Razz

Love the project, i had a quick go in one a while back and have been hoping to own one ever since.

Just out of interest are the two pot front calipers the same as the lotus ones?

You'd have to double check on fitment though - just to make sure, I know the calipers are pretty much the same.

Looks like the last brand new set of fronts went for £175 for both, the last brand new set of rears went for £200.

Should probably update this to say it's been sold - the Z4 is now my main car.

It had to go as I've bought a house with the other half and it ain't cheap.
