1) My wish wash wipers are annoyingly squeaky. Can anyone tell me what ones I must buy to get it replace? Halfords?
2) This question has always gotten to me, why my wipers move the other way compared to all other cars I see... I am quite a tall person and I have to put up with the corner of the windscreen not clearing because the wipers operate the opposite way?

Because the 206 was originaly designed for left hand drive & Peugeot just couldnt be bothered to do a proper job of converting the wipers over for right hand drive versions.

Cuts costs, which are past on to the customer

Thats also the reason the newer Peugeot's have such a p**s poor sized glove box as they dont even bother to move the fuse box now for right hand drive

A lot of cars have the same. Also the reason why a lot have the diagnostic port in the centre near the handbrake so they don't have to move that. Also why some have them window wipers which open up from like the centre like the Picasso

Not true in everycase.
My wipers are from tesco and cost about £5. And they do a great job.

If you want normal wipers, tesco £3 each. Just the job.
