Took my car for its MOT today.
And it passed with only 1 advisory.

Inner CV boot clip broken.

So I have no idea what that other garage was on about that my arch liners were catching and i needed new CV joints.

It's good to hear another one passing first time.

How many people wait until the date of expiry before having the MOT done. I book mine in a month before for a pre MOT check. If nothing needs doing then I get them to issue the MOT which is valid for 13 months, if there is something that needs doing, then I have a month to get it sorted.
I get the pre MOT free as the car is going to have an MOT with the same place, I just give the garage owner a bit extra when I pay for the test.

Might be a cracked abs ring, araldite it for the mot then get it sorted after, or it could be a faulty sensor
