about time i started a project thread, so gonna keep it simple till i get some new pics,
well i bought the car new. always kept i clean it clean but only really just started modding it
[img] [/img]
this was only last year but still original.
after driving it hard for a bit i thought it was about time to get all little bits done, the front end had loads of chips so i statred by going out and bought a gt bumper,
[img] [/img]
then it was sent off for all the spraying to be done, wasnt cheap but was well happy when i saw it.
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
so some clean pics,
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
then after having my top mount replaced, then it going again i thought ill go for the vibra technics uprated ones, ive got all but only got theses pics, and changing it also give me an extra excuse to clean the engine some more.
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
look at the mess lol so give it a tidy
[img] [/img]
so on with cleaning the engine up i sprayed up the engine cover and struts and purchased a carbon fibre strut brace.
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
so after having the paint sorted i purchased two new alloys from pug because mine was slightly buckled and didnt fancie having them repaired, so got them them the back two was in need of a refurb, so i opted to change colour, but happy with the outcome.
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
they look dark on some photos but depends how you look at them plus all these pics are just off a mobile.
what else, what else Mmm, ive put ebc discs and red stuff pads all round. panel filter, pioneer touch screen with focal door speakers, vibe subs in original box but customised a little and recovered to match interior, jbl crown mono amp and jbl 4 channel. full stainless steel which i had made, because when it went there wasnt sorpions or janspeed etc, and wasnt going to pay dealer price, im really happy with it but i do prefer the oe thicker pipes. O and a new clifford with anti hijack and the works. pain in the ass sometimes,
so just a few little various pics and ill upload some new clean ones pref, not at home because it looks boring
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]
forgot also wraped door pillars in 3m carbon, did mirrors but wasnt perfect so need some more.
Thanx for looking

cheers, i like the bumper, but from the side i agree does look like a fat lip, could be worse could have a fat ass to go with it, i prefer grey to black, but black also looks well , i still like the shiny silver tho,

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say.
The GT bumper doesn't look right and looks less like a 180, more like a tarted up 1.4 Sport.

lowering is next, but im going for bilstein and eibach setup with new strut tops and whatever else whats involved. and if i was to take the bumper off, it would just be a 180, lol everyones different thats why sites like these do well,

As said on Psooc, the bumper looks good I once was going to put one on my old car, but what I think doesn't work is the mesh. Makes it look cheap, if you opted for the standard black grile it would look 10x better. Morrettes and lowering would be WIN.

Were those blue torsion bars once red? Those allot blocks that the lateral bars attach to on the trailing arms look far better in raw alloy.
