ive got a mechanic friend offering the timing and tensioner. i just have to get the parts.
how many teeth is on the belt? 104 or 108
automatic or manual tensioner
2001 y reg 1.4

Timing belt has 108 teeth.
Tensioner - no idea, Service box just shows tensioner assembly 
Peugeot / Citroen part number 0831 Q4 Timing belt kit £72.28
That kit inculdes the timing belt & the tensioner assembly.

i just ordered timing belt kit, drive belt and water pump from eurocar parts for just over £60. heres hoping all goes well. thanks alot.
