I've tried putting tape around where the boot catch meets the latch on the car but obviously ovre time this tape wears....

would this:

be able to 're build' the plastic part that is worn for a more long term soloution?

just simply adjust the catch Wink

(the catch on car) loosen the two bolts, move down, tighten up Razz

It's not going to stop the boot lid rattling off the worn out rubber stop though.

Replace the full latch, it's only about £15.00 new from Peugeot.

seemed to work for me, probably had it quite tight or somthing,

lecy tape round the bit it locks onto helps also.
