I might have some in my box, got loads of different things in there, I'll have to check.
Nah, turning airbag light off. Doing it so it thinks the seat is occupied all the time, then at least the airbag will always deploy

Just had a look and found some. Got 5 resistors and 7 diodes

OK.
What about the seat-belt reminder.. Will that not kick-in everytime if it thinks the seat is occupied?

Damn you, should have guessed. 
Taxis use just a bare-clip locked-in over here..

Did the same with a Astra the other month because the beeping did my mates head in

Well I got back to find the battery completely flat. After some advice earlier in this post I turned the headlights on, connected the jump leads and started the car with no problems at all, so all this nonsense about possibly frying the BSI seems a bit over the top to me. Oh by the way Ive had to buy a new battery as the old one was as flat a roadkill on a country lane and wouldn't charge, so hopefully I wont have to jump start again.
