Hi guys,
All of a sudden my cv joint on the left hand front wheel has started clicking when I turn. For instance when I'm turning round a corner it will click until I stop turning.
Can I plea have some advice on either,
1. How to repair it and if it's a common problem.
2. How much it is likely to cost?
Cheers again
Rhys

If you can do it yourself then it's cheap, i did my gf's 206 and it was £19 from a company called J&R in birmingham. They have a shop on ebay selling Cv joint kits.

That companys id on ebay is j_r2006 Used them loads of times and they are spot on, £23 delivered next day for a CV joint complete with gaitor, metal bands and grease and new hub nut. Never had any problems with them Only takes 45 minutes to change it too.

once the shaft is out undo the clips holding the CV boot ( rubber thing on the back of the CV ) and if you clean out the worst of the grease you will see a circlip which needs to be opened up and then tapp the CV off.
put the new CV boot on the shaft and pack new CV with grease and put it on the shaft making sure the circlip has locked into place.
