Just changed a load of bulbs that had gone, in the hope this would cure this, but when I turn either side lights or headlights on, the middle console lights and the dash lights go dim, not off, just very low?
Could this be a fuse?

Its not a problem they will go dim, you can adjust this using the pin on the clocks closest to the drivers door. If you hold it down you can adjust the brightness when the lights are on.

When you turn the lights on the dash lights on the centre console go dim, and clock lights come on.So that you can see them but they aren't blinding lights, as they don't need to be as bright during darkness

any reason as to why mine goes dim and bright erratically? i set mine to the brightest but my dashboard and mfd lights goes dim and bright randomly.

Also I set my mfd to display my instantaneous fuel consumption. When it goes dim, i noticed that my fuel consumption gets stuck and doesn't change very often. looks as if my bsi or something is being moody. Though when it brightens up back to normal my fuel consumption reading updates normally. Only happens when my lights are on.
