i had my gti booked in at peugeot ecosse this morning for a rolling road session and a service check so i was a wee bit nervous about what the outcome would be
the car is basicaly bog standard with the exception of a cat back supersprint exhaust and i was very very pleased with the outcome
norm power reading was 146.5bhp
engine output was 140.5bhp
wheel output was 100.5bhp
drag output was 40bhp
torque reading was 138lbf-ft at 4250bhp
8.5bhp extra from the exhaust on a 12y/o car is pretty decent in my eyes
so in a nutshell the car is running sweet as a nut the only thing they found wrong with the car was it is pulling to the left and it needs front passenger side strut bearings
next job on the list will be getting the strut bearings fixed and then getting the wheel alignment sorted and probably a simota induction kit Cool

you should go to some independant company with a dyno dynamics rr and see what you get. Im guessing big companies like RedDot, Ecosse etc have a bigger audience so people can be influenced so easily and there's much to be gained by "giving" great results whereas with small companies probably have no reason to.

Ecosse carry out performance work whereas small places might not hence no reason to fix results for example.

Im not saying that anyone does fix results, but just my POV.

not really tbh.

power at wheel is rock solid on most roller; however power at flywheel are calculated base on power at wheel, so it all depends on what formula they use Laughing

unless you lift the egnine out and do a proper engine dyno, then it will tell you a more reliable power at fly value; most racing engine builder/ tunner have proper facility to do that.
